I saw this paper, and just knew it would make a fantastic box!  The paper is from a William Morris design, and I have used it to wrap around the outside lid of the box, which has then had a layer or two of resin.
 
Perfect for a study, or sitting on a mahogony desk, to hold imprtant papers, or treasured memories.
 
 
Box measures  9" x 7" x 4"  (25 x 20 x 10 cm).
The body of the box is painted and waxed, with the inside of the base having a layer of resin.
